Catch Up Time! Part 2

A few Sundays ago we packed a cooler and headed up to Second Dam to make breakfast. Dawson didn't care for the smoke or his tin-foil breakfast (sausage, eggs, hash-browns, and cheese...seriously kid?!) but he really enjoyed throwing rocks in the water. Desmond liked the rocks, too. Apparently they are really fun to gnaw on. ;)

The next set of pictures will follow the Hatch family through random July days. Ready, Set, Go!:
Oh my heck...is that not the cutest plumber butt you've ever seen?!

New tractor sheets = tractor read-a-thon!
Desmond is so happy cause big brother is taking his picture!

Happy Gilmore style....

Oh the Cruise-In, I didn't think Dawson would ever let us leave. He had a blast!

I think he's probably saying "police motorcycles!" We heard that one A LOT.

 FIRE DEPARTMENT TOUR!

This is how we do cross-eyes.

Demolition Derby! I want to tickle Desmond's cute belly!

Dawson takes better pictures of Desmond than I do!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Kylan! We emailed this picture to him.

Happiest boy! And look at those chompers!

More to come as the summer continues to blast by!

Catch up time! Part 1

Is it really the middle of July? Winter will be here before we know it! I've been enjoying the summer weather too much to sit and blog. Hence, I'll be writing a massive "catch-up" post today.

In June we went with the Lawson side of the family to Yellowstone. We had beautiful weather until our last day when it turned into this:

A Winter Wonderland!

Dawson thought the buffalo were awesome and burst into "Guy on a Buffalo" whenever we saw them roaming the sides of the highway.

Silly Dawson's first buffalo encounter.

We bunked-up with Kaysha, Cam, and Oakley, and it was surprisingly not squishy! The first night of the trip was a little sleepless, though. :)

Always so helpful....

Peek-a-boo cute Desmond!

Dawson chillin' with his hip cousin.

We were overlooking a much-too-high waterfall. Notice Jeffrey's death-grip on my wrist...just in case I started climbing over the fence. :)

Terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs

The boys were excited to finally be warm!

Look-out Dawson! I stepped inside this souvenir shop and I bought Desmond a stuffed moose and Dawson a buffalo (the "Guy on a Buffalo" song immediately followed).

Desmond and Grandma Lawson sporting their navy blue "Pismo Beach" hoodies.

IT WAS FREEEEEZING! Desmond had the right idea.

On our way home from Yellowstone we stayed a night in Jackson, WY. The next day we wandered around town. While in this homemade ice-cream shop (I have no idea what it was called!) Dawson was sitting on the counter in front of a big window. A group of Asian tourists started snapping wildly and posing with him in the background. Oddly, it was one of the highlights of the trip for me.
Breakfast in Jackson

Kaysha pointed us in the direction of Yippy I-O Candy Co. in Jackson. Dawson could hardly contain himself (neither could the rest of us...)!

Our last stop on the trip was in Bedford to visit Grandma and Grandpa Heiner. Dawson was in heaven seeing all the big machines. My cousin Shaelyn won Dawson's heart by taking him for a spin on the lawn mower and letting him climb up inside the tractor.
Words can't express Dawson's joy.
